A Transformative Experience for Students

The USM SPires Trading Team

The team has been comprised of between five and ten students, who are selected for participation after completing a rigorous interview process at the end of every academic year. Students then prepare during the summer months.  Peer coaching and weekly on campus meetings during the academic year are required. The strategy uses a rules-based  process to identify options with short duration expirations, generating premium income for the portfolio. All income constitutes short term gains.
